WebAssembly Core 3.0
The locked WebAssembly/spec baseline is fc209c5ed8afc4dfeb9252024d217da3376c7a6f: 258 Core WAST files and 65,294 directives, with zero failures and zero skips. The result describes this exact baseline, not every future proposal.
Component Model
The current locked suite reports 1,118 synchronous and 259 asynchronous passes. An additional 55 audited normative-prose disputes are listed separately, with zero failed, deferred, or skipped directives. Wasmd also supports WIT packages, interfaces, worlds, local dependencies, linking, and canonical ABI execution.
WASI profiles
Preview 1, WASI 0.2, and versioned 0.3.0 / 0.3.1 hosts have separate support inventories. M28.8 passed the local Windows/Linux x86_64 matrix; macOS and native ARM64 evidence remains outstanding. Full WASI 0.3.1 compatibility is not claimed. The current WASI 0.3 host profile denies sockets.
Reproduce before comparing
Performance evidence must name the workload, backend, hardware, operating system, and build. Cranelift can benefit short integer functions while mixed stateful functions retain overhead. Run the repository benchmark and regression scripts against a baseline from the same machine.
Based on the current repository documentation. Check your installed version and the linked acceptance records when adopting development features.
